Texas wouldn't be too far out either.......

UNC is pretty much just dominate at everything.
Mens basketball is really their only dominance. They have a very good baseball program over the past 4 years, but it wasn't anything before that. Their womens basketball program is solid as well, but football isn't great, neither is their track teams, or volleyball that I can think of. Florida has a better overall program in the last 5 years in reality, with 2 football and basketball national titles, a volleyball title I believe (or at least final four), a top ranked softball program and for the most part a good baseball program. Track teams aren't bad either. LSU is right there with a football national title, basketball Final Four, baseball national title, womens Final Four appearances, and one of the best track programs in the land.
FSU has won 3 consecutive track titles during the last 5 years.
I don't know if UNC has the best athletic programs in the country, but I know the ACC is the best athletic conference when all sports are considered.
How do you know that? :)
Its actually quite even between the ACC, SEC, Big 12 and PAC-10 with probably an edge to the PAC-10 to be honest. It seems like Stanford always wins the NACDA title so I would guess you would have to say they actually have the best athletic program.
Back on topic..... I could see Coach Phillip Fulmer being the next coach at the University of Virginia. Groh won't be there next year IMO and Fulmer is available, just a thought.
Beamer is starting to go down the same road as Fulmer went down.
